With all the recent financial aid statements by other colleges, MIT has followed suite!

Super Smash Brothers Brawl Prank

To celebrate the release of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, a highly anticipated Nintendo Wii game (which I preordered :-), a few hackers put up some items from the game in Lobby 7. Below are pics of Mario's hat and mustache, a pokemon ball, a super smash crate, a banana, a Mario tomato, and a few other items. There was also a healing heart container (from the Zelda franchise), but I was not able to get a good picture of it. I'm excited to play the game when it arrives here from Amazon!

IAP 6.270 Autonomous Lego Robots!

Over IAP I built a Lego robot for the famous (or maybe infamous :-) 6.270 competition! I made a blog about our robot, Peg Leg, which you can check out at this link:
http://mit-6270-robot-pegleg.blogspot.com/

There are videos and pictures of Peg Leg, which are really cool. So go check it out! And if you are at MIT, do 6.270 before you graduate! It's just one of those things you HAVE to do.

My team had tons of fun over IAP, even though it was tons of work (we spent over 100 hours on our robot).

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I'm at home relaxing right now. It was a bit strange to be home, but after a few days it feels normal. I've been away since the end of August, so it's been a long time. I'm having fun with my family and will be going back to MIT in the middle of January (but I'm leaving for Houston to visit family there for a week before heading back).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
